A forty-two-year-old Rome woman who was accused of stealing a financial transaction card earlier this year at a restaurant on Martha Berry Highway, barricaded herself inside the Krystal Restaurant on Turner McCall Boulevard in Rome last week.
Georgia gas prices have dropped at the pump. Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.03 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight). Monday’s state average was 3 cents less than a week ago, 16 cents more than a month ago, and 13 cents more than this time last year. It now costs an average of $45.45 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Georgians are now paying $2.40 more to fill up at the pump compared to a month ago.
