“Cooler” Weather & Rain In the Forecast

After several days of blistering hot weather and heat advisories, it looks like Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama will start to see milder temperatures and an increased chance for rain.  Today, we have an 80% chance for showers in the afternoon and will see highs in the mid-80’s.  As we go through the rest of the week, we will have more rain possibilities and will see overnight lows back down in the mid-60’s.  All of this is thanks to a cold-front that is stalled over North Georgia that will remain through mid-week.  Enjoy the “cooler” temperatures this week – the long-range forecast shows highs back in the 90’s heading into next week.
