Independent Pharmacies In Georgia To Start Selling Medical Cannabis

Georgians eligible to treat their chronic illnesses with cannabis oil soon will have a lot more choices of places to get the medicine. The state Board of Pharmacy has released a set of regulations that will allow Georgia’s independent pharmacies to dispense cannabis oil to eligible patients enrolled in a registry maintained by the state Department of Public Health.

Georgia Unemployment Rate For May Up Slightly

Georgia Labor Commissioner Bruce Thompson has announced that Georgia’s May unemployment rate was 3.2 percent, up one-tenth from a revised 3.1 percent in April. The unemployment rate held at 3.1 percent for nine consecutive months before the May uptick and was five-tenths lower than the national unemployment rate of 3.7 percent.
