On Friday of last week, Chattooga County Deputies responded to a domestic incident on Northern Heights Circle in Summerville. When officers arrived on the scene they found a forty-two-year-old man heavily intoxicated and being belligerent. Deputies spoke with family members who said Gregory Henry Stanfield, Jr. had been drinking and became irate when a family member told him a microwave was broken. While on the scene, deputies said Stanfield was berating family members and deputies. Stanfield told deputies that he would just go stay with his mother – but his mother said she didn’t want him to stay at her house. At that point, Stanfield began to curse and yell even more. Deputies arrested Stanfield and booked him into the Chattooga County Jail on disorderly conduct charges.
