The Chattooga Indians are 0-3 on the season after a 44-7 loss at Mount Zion last week. Tonight will be the region 7-A opening game for both schools.
The Trion Bulldogs are looking to build on the momentum of their impressive 28-21 road win over Model last week. The Bulldogs are 2-2 on the season with victories over Dade County and Model and losses against Gordon Lee and Temple. Tonight, the Dawgs will square off against the Lafayette Ramblers in Trion at Sam R. McCain Stadium. The Ramblers went 0-10 last year but are off to one of the better starts in recent history with a 2-1 record. The Ramblers shut out Chattooga 25-0 in Week 1, lost to Gordon Lee 24-7 in week 2 and defeated Dade County last week on the road in Trenton 17-7.
