On Thursday, the weather remains similar, with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Temperatures could reach 93 degrees, making it feel like 97 degrees due to the heat index. Precautions should be taken against heat exhaustion. Thursday night has a 30% chance of storms before 8 p.m. On Friday, expect a 50% chance of thunderstorms after 11 a.m., with a high near 92 degrees. Saturday also features a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m., with persistent heat.

A Summerville man was arrested on July 11th following a domestic dispute where he allegedly assaulted a woman on Scoggins Street. Anthony Dozier was taken into custody after the complainant reported he slammed her to the ground during an argument.
