HERSHELL GLENN THOMAS, AGE 90, Trion, Georgia went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born in the Waterville community on December 22, 1926, to the late Jeffie & Bessie McConkey Thomas. He served his county during WW II in the U. S. Navy. Was retired from Koehring Southern Crane Company in Chattanooga, TN.
Mrs. Evelyn G. Wilson, age 96, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, in the local nursing home. She was born in Fannin County, Georgia on November 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Andrew and Dora Stepp Campbell.
Mrs. Marie Hilley Lovell, age 89 of Summerville, GA passed away Monday December 18, 2017 at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Carolyn Christine Teems Evett, age 70, of Armuchee, passed away Sunday morning, December 17, 2017, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Lorene Marie Cothran, age 90, of Summerville, GA, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Nathanial Scott Leonard, Sr., age 46, of Cedar Bluff, AL, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Christopher Manson “Fat Boy” Cooper, age 34 of the Trion, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Huntsville, AL following a sudden illness.
MR. FELIX LABRON BEENE, age 71, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, in an Augusta hospital. Born in Trenton, Georgia on July 6, 1946, He was a son of the late Cecil Beene and Dora Elizabeth Usry Beene who survives.
Surviving are daughter, Kimberly Rutledge of Trion; son, Donald Hammonds of Calhoun; mother, Dora E. Beene of Trion; brothers, Leroy Beene of Chattanooga and Ronnie Beene of Trion; grandchildren, Cody Beene, Ciara Pene, and other Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers Cody Beene, Devin Beene, Tommy Smith, Jerry Holbrook, Scott Wish. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
