Mr. William "Boyce" Keith, age 65 of Lafayette, GA passed away February 26, 2017 at a Chattanooga Hospital.

Mrs. Margaret Louise Westbrook Stewart, age 80 of Soddy Daisy, TN passed away Friday, February 24, 2017.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Trion, Georgia on February 29, 1936, daughter of the late Thomas Hamilton “Hamp” Westbrook and Olivia Elizabeth Brown Westbrook.  She was a member of the Trion United Methodist Church, where she was active for many years.  Mrs. Stewart was a 1954 graduate of Trion High School, and was active in the Alumni Association, helping many students to receive college scholarships.  She earned her A.S. Degree from Reinhardt College, her  B.S. Degree from Georgia Teachers College, and earned her Master’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University.  She was a member of the Georgia State Teachers Retirement Association and Delta Kappa Gamma.  Mrs. Stewart was a retired teacher and coach from Jonesboro High School.  She coached numerous sports and worked with the youth at Jonesboro United Methodist Church.  She touched many lives during her life as evidenced by the many calls, cards and visits she received from family, friends, fellow teachers and former students.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by brothers, George Gaylord Westbrook, C. Ralph Brown, and Glen Westbrook; nephew, Rob Westbrook; and nieces, Kay B. Scott and Dinky W. Warren.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by nieces and nephews, Edwina and Rick Montgomery, Catherine and Gene McNabb, Tom Westbrook, Tim and Debbie Westbrook, Chris Westbrook, Michelle Warren, Danielle Croom, John Westbrook, David and Cindy Westbrook, Butch Westbrook and Christy Taylor; sister-in-law, Linda Westbrook and numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Stewart will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Mitchell and Rev. Dan Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Nephews.

Mrs. Stewart will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of  flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Trion United Methodist Church, 810 Pine Street, Trion, GA  30753 or to the Mary Ellen Locher Breast Cancer Center, 605 Glenwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

Mary Margaret Fletcher, age 92, passed away Friday February 24, 2017, in Pruitt Health Care Center.  Mary was born April 6, 1924, in Hickman County, TN, the sixth child of Sam and Linnie Chaney.

She worked for Oakridge National Labratories and Bell Telephone,  before marring Glenn Wesley Fletcher  in the 1950’s and moving to northwest Georgia.  She became an excellent cook and gardener.  Her roast beef Sunday dinners with fresh garden vegetables were great.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, an infant daughter, her parents, and her brothers and a sister.  She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son Don Fletcher and his wife, Gray Fletcher, grandson, Wes Fletcher, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday February 26, 2017, from the  Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating with burial in the West Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Fletcher will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday February 26, 2017, from  1:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Donald “Don” Lesley Sullivan, 76, of Ringgold, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his residence. A native of Maitland, Florida, he has lived in the North Georgia area for the past 37 years and moved from Orlando, Florida. Don was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a former employee of All-Tel where he worked for 22 years. He led music at various churches, and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he was over the Senior Adult Ministry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Pearl Estelle Banks Sullivan; sisters, Joan Hayes, Louise Johnson, and Myra Jackson; and five brothers, Earnest, Rufus, Melvin, Clem and Frank Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Beverleigh Anne Hoover Sullivan of Ringgold, GA.; five children, Donald (Melanie) Gregory Sullivan of Summerville, GA., Melonie Dawn Sullivan Kidd of Tupelo, MS., Beth (Tony) Bateman of Ringgold, GA., John (Rhonda) Sterner of Summerville, GA and Tim (Missy) Sterner of Jacksonville, FL.; nine grandchildren, six great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday February 19, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Loveless, Bro. Leroy Wilson and Rev. Michael Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 66 Westbrook Rd., Ringgold, GA. 30736 or the Hospice of Chattanooga 4411 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN. 37416. MR. HOMER EDWARD LEE STAMPER, – Age 70, – Of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017.  He was born on December 15, 1946 to the late Emma Bell Stamper in the Gore Community, was retired from Shaw Industries, and was a life member of Prospect Baptist Church.   He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Ruth Young, Mary Ann Stamper, brother-in-law, James Perry Young.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Martha Jean Covington Stamper; son, Reginald Lee Stamper, Sr., godson, Burt (Wanda) Lawrence; daughters, Marcie (Thomas) Stubbs, and Lynn Covington; seventeen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two special grandchildren, Marrissa Stubbs, and Belle Anderson; two sisters, Helen (Lee Edward) Powell, Frances Evans; brothers, Jeff David (Pauline) Stamper, James (Rosie Lee) Stamper; brother-in-law, Roger Lee Covington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 1:00 P. M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 2306 West Armuchee Road, LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Scott Copeland and Rev. James Washington, Jr. as Eulogist.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M.  Flower Bearers will be the Women of Prospect and Casket Bearers will be the Men of Prospect.    Interment,  Summerville Cemetery.
