MR. ROBERT L. LOVE, age 72, of South Cedar Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at his residence, following a sudden attack.  A native of Trion, Georgia He was a son of the late William Bill Love and Avis Lewis Love; and was also preceded by a brother, the late William “Bud” Love and sister, the late Ruth Coker.  Mr. Love was a graduate of Chattooga High School and served in Korea during the Viet Nam era in the U. S. Army.  Robert will be remembered as a loving, devoted husband, Dad, grand daddy, (Pops to his granddaughters and brother).  Anyone needing help, Robert was always first to help.

        Surviving are His loving wife, Margie A. Love; daughter, Carla D. Love of Trion and granddaughters, Ann-Marie Keef and Teresa Denise Keef; brothers, David (Vera) Love, Walter (Nell) Love, Winston Love, and Ben Love; sister, Virginia (W.T.) Tucker; sister-in-law, Margie L. Love; several Nieces and Nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Reverend Varney Arthur “Art” Graves.  He was born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 20, 1935, and passed from this world on the afternoon of November 6, 2016 (All Saints Day in the Methodist Church).

Art served as either the youth minister or pastor for the people of North Georgia as an ordained minister in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1960.  In that time period, he was appointed to ten Methodist Churches: Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC), Lagrange, GA; St. Paul UMC, Atlanta; Grace UMC, Atlanta; Thomson First Methodist, Thomson, GA; Tuckston UMC, Athens, GA; Graysville UMC, Graysville, GA; Trion UMC, Trion, GA; Lafayette 1^st Methodist, Lafayette, GA; Eton UMC, Eton, GA; and Fisher’s Chapel UMC in Summerville, GA.

Art was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wiley and Minnie Graves (a strong influence in his life), Walter and Beulah Graves; and his parents, Varney A. and Mary Bartlett Graves.

Art is survived by Sylvia Graves, his devoted wife of 54 years; daughter, Vanessa Schuler; sons, Marshall Graves and Gerald Graves; brother, Walter Graves; sisters, Emily Roberts, Betty Rueben, and Andi Baker; grandchildren, Mara Gabrielle Schuler, Rebecca Michal Schuler, Brandon Ellis Schuler, Joshua Arthur Graves, Kaitlyn Paige Graves, Lindsey Walston, Nathan Vega and Brenan Vega; a Godson, Newton McCurdy; and through Compassionate Friends, a “Child of compassion” Sulmy Anedith Martinez Gomes in Guatemala.

A Celebration of Life Service for Rev. Art Graves will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 3:30 P.M. in the Trion United Methodist Church with Rev. John McCurdy and Family and Friends  officiating. 

Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Fisher’s Chapel Cemetery.  Those desiring to attend the graveside are asked to meet at Coffman Funeral Home by 1:15 Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Ellis Schuler, Joshua Arthur Graves, Newton McCurdy, Nathan Vega and Brenan Vega.

MR. RICHARD ECHOLS III, age 65, of Perennial Springs Road-Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at his residence following a sudden attack.  Born on July 2, 1951 He was a son of the late Charles R. Echols, Jr. and Ella Edwards Echols.  Mr. Echols attended the Perennial Springs Baptist Church and was retired hyster driver for Mohawk Industries.

        Surviving are His wife, Gail Booker Echols; son, Bryan Echols both of Summerville; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

        Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Circle B. Farms, on Fish Hatchery Road, Summerville with Rev. Waydell Howell officiating.  In Lieu of flowers the Family ask for contributions for funeral expenses.

JADA MARIE KENDRICK, age 5, of Trion passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained from a house fire.

Jada attended Leroy Massey Elementary School in Summerville.

Jada was preceded in death by her uncle,  aunt, and cousin’s,  Brad, D.J., Clair, Lola and Olivia Jones;  great grandmother: Cornelia Thompson; great grandfathers: Jerry Mean, Frazier Thompson and Todd Mitchell; great-great parents: Gorden Deforest Mitchell, Emma Addison Mitchell, and Edward Frashier.

Survivors are father: Kell Kendrick; mother: Ana Addison; sisters: Jaleah Kendrick and Jaylin Kendrick; grandparents: Leroy and Evelyn Hooks, Carol and Repondsia Thompson, Don and Tina Mitchell Lowe, and Deron Addison and Ann Hall; great grandparents: Kenneth and Pam Treadway and Shelia Mitchell; great-great-grandparents: Josephine Frashier and Eloise Kendrick; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Clair “Clair Bear” Jones, 4; Lola Jones, 3; and Olivia Jones, 3 months, ascended to their eternal home with their parents, Brad & D.J. Jones and cousin, Jada Kendrick  Monday, October 24, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained from a house fire in Trion, Georgia.

They were survived by grandparents: Melissa (Ed Lepper) Jones, Todd Jones, Tina and Don Mitchell Lowe; great grandparents, Tommy & Barbara Woods, Elizabeth Dodd, Kenneth & Pam Treadway, and Shelia Mitchell; great grandmother, Josephine Frashier; aunts and uncles: Landon & Kelly Jones, Alex & Kim Jones, Ana  (Kell Kendrick) Addison, Sammie J. Addison, Shounta Shirley, Billy Sipsy, Darrin Lowe, Jeff Lowe, and Josh Ashworth; several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

Myrion Bradley “Brad” Jones, 29; Demi “D.J.” Josephine Jones, 23, ascended to their eternal home Monday, October 24, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained from a house fire in Trion, Georgia. 

Brad was preceded in death by his wife, his three girls, Clair, Lola and Olivia Jones,  eight great grandparents; grandmother: Nellie Woods; grandfather: William Myron Dodd;

Survivors are mother: Melissa (Ed Lepper) Jones; father: Todd Jones; grandparents: Tommy (Barbara) Woods and Elizabeth Dodd; brothers: Landon (Kelly) Jones and Alex (Kim) Jones, all of  Summerville;  several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

D.J. was preceded in death by her husband, and her three children; grandparents: Marvin and Peggy Addison, and Todd Mitchell; great grandparents: Gordon DeForest Mitchell, Emma Addison Mitchell and Edward Frashier.
