Mrs. Nora Mae Greene Siffles, age 53, of Trion ,GA passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her residence.
 
Mrs. Siffles was born October 2, 1962 in Trion, GA to the late Leonard and Dorothy McDaniel Greene. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
 
Mrs. Siffles is survived by her husband; Robert Siffles, step-daughter; Angela Russell, brothers; Terry (Glenda) Greene, Gregory (Kristy) Greene, Leonard Earl (Kathy) Greene, Dewayne (Samantha) Greene, and James Greene (Katie) Brooker, 3 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral Services for Mrs. Siffles will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Logan Greene, Dusty Trammell, Karen Woods, Chris Montgomery, Thomas Russell, and Michael Hall serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews, and personal friends.

MRS. IDELLA EMMA DANIEL BLACK – AGE 99, – Of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Brother Mahue Black, and son, Emanuel Black.  Survivors and funeral arrangements will be announced later by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

Mr. Paul Leon Faulkner, Obit. (M)

Mr. Paul Leon Faulkner, age 90, of Summerville, GA, died Thursday, August 18, 2016, at his residence.
 
Mr. Faulkner was born December 2, 1925, in Blanche, AL, son of the late Tasos Konidaris and Florence Faulkner.  He was a member of the Living Waters Ministries, and prior to his retirement, was a self-employed businessman.  Mr. Faulkner was also a veteran of the United States Army.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maggie Bullard Faulkner; second wife, JoAnn Caheely;  sons, Jerry Faulkner, Johnny Faulkner; daughters, Jean Faulkner, Delores King.
 
Mr. Faulkner is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Faulkner, Dale and Janie Smith, David Smith, Mike and Sheri Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Darrell Allman; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services for Mr. Faulkner will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 19, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Wright and Pastor Mike Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brent Smith, Brett Smith, and Derek Smith.

Mr. William Vernon Graham Obit (M)

Mr. William Vernon Graham, age 80, of Menlo, GA, died Saturday, August 6, 2016, at his residence.
 
Mr. Graham was born November 28, 1935, in McDonald, TN, son of the late James Robert and Josephine Morgan Graham.  Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Graham Metals.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
 
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Judith Brannon Graham; a son, Richard David Graham; daughters, Kimberly Graham Hamilton and Cheryl Ochodnicky; sisters, Brenda Graham Smith, Alice Graham, and Bobbie Graham; grandchildren, Will Hamilton, Amy Graham, and Emily Ochodnicky.
 
Memorial services for Mr. Graham will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 21, 2016, from the Menlo United Methodist Church with Rev. Jody Brock officiating.
 
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday at the Menlo United Methodist Church.

Mr. Wallace Coley Martin Obit (M)

Mr. Wallace Coley Martin, age 78, of Menlo, GA, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at his residence.
 
Mr. Martin was born May 15, 1938, in Taft, AL, son of the late Fred Coley Martin and Cledie Loberta Timmerman Martin.  He was a member of the Alpine Community Church where he also served as a trustee, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Georgia Rug Mill.  He was a graduate of Menlo High School and the Carroll Lynn Business.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army.  Mr. Martin was a charter member of both the Menlo Lions Club and the Menlo Recreation Department.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Joe Martin and Winston Delano Martin; and a half sister, Margaret Kirk.
 
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Mauney Martin; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Martin, Mike and Kanissa Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie Frank and Kaye Martin, Gregory Allen and Debbie Martin; grandchildren, C. J. Martin, Jacie Martin, Ellie Martin, John Michael Martin, and Austin Martin.
 
Funeral services for Mr. Martin will be held at 4:30 P.M. Thursday, August 18, 2016, from the Alpine Community Church with Rev. Tommy Pledger, Rev. Jeff Hammett, and Rev. Rodney Blalock officiating.  Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Ralph Tucker, Lynn Hall, Sam Hall, John Nelson, Steve Smith, Gene Gazaway, Eric Brown, Malcom Birge, and Eddie Elsberry.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Majors, Tom Brown, Bron Love, Shane Tucker, Charles Davis, David Langston, Ray Lemons, Dennis Tucker, Ralph Crowe, George Crowe III, Grady Crabb, the Menlo Class of 1957, and the members of the Menlo Lions Club.

Mr. Jackie Claud "Jack" King, age 71, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, August 15, 2016, at his residence.
 
Mr. King was born October 12, 1944, in Cohutta, GA, son of the late Claud and Pauline Mahon King.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Textile Mills as a welder and pipefitter. 
 
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Patricia A. King; son, Labron Doss; daughters and son-in-law, Tonya Overstreet, Lori McElroy, Christy and Jerry Plott; a brother, Darrel King; a sister, Carrol Moree; grandchildren, Cristy York, Kenzie Doss, Kerry McElroy, Corry and Abby Plott.
 
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Russell officiating.  Interment with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

        Surviving are daughter, Margie S. Rose of Trion; son, James Clyde Hawkins of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, at 11:00 A. M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, with Ministers Hugh Glaze and Jim Huskey officiating, interment in Hall Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Robbie Johnson, Wayne King, Scott Sparks, Rodney Lankford, William Campbell, and Greg Baker.  The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10 A.M. until the hour of service Friday.  In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made for funeral expenses.

Mrs. Patricia Diane "Patty" Sneed, age 57, of Menlo, GA, died Sunday, August 14, 2016, at her residence.
 
Mrs. Sneed was born February 25, 1959, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Samuel James and Shirley Pritchett Goodridge.  She was a member of the Menlo First Baptist Church.  She was employed as a Registered Nurse with Augusta University.  She was the best wife ever, and was a wonderful aunt to her numerous nieces and nephew.
 
Mrs. Sneed is survived by her husband, Mitchell Leslie Sneed; brother, Sammy Goodridge; sisters, Beverly Wilson, Lori Patterson, Angie Benton, and Robin Cavin; and parents, Doyle and Joyce Brown.
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Sneed will be held privately.  Interment will be held in the Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Austin Patterson, Yancey Parris, Matthew Willingham, Eric Sneed, Brian Sneed, and Justin Goodridge.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Sneed, and the W.M.U. and Ladies of the Menlo First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Glenda Carol Hardin, Obit. (C)

Mrs. Glenda Carol Hardin, age 68, of Summerville, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence.

 

Mrs. Hardin was born in Summerville, Georgia on October 15, 1947, daughter of the late Dewitt Venable and Lessie Brown Venable.  She was a member of the West Berryton Faith Temple and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Venable, Doris Grant, Jean Wooten, Edna Louise Venable and Joyce Lucille Venable.

 

Mrs. Hardin is survived by her daughters, Karen Carr and her companion, Jeremy Thomas, and Melody Shaver; sisters, Shirley and Richard Benedict, Elaine and Bob Pledger and Dianne and Robert Croy; grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Vaughn, Kasey(April) Shaver, Patrick (Haley) Shaver; Jacob Thomas, Kristin Shaver and Lily Flood; great grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn, Korei Shaver, Lydon Blake Shaver and Harper Shaver; special friend, Mike Jones, and a number of nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hardin will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. John Mann officiating.  Interment will follow in the Perennial Springs Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Thomas, Patrick Shaver, Kasey Shaver, Paul Vaughn, Jacob Thomas, and Korei Shaver.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Robin Calvert, Erica Phillips, Brenda Johnston, and all Close Friends.
