MR.  BILLY  VAUGHN  JACKSON,  Age,  80,  of  LaFayette  passed  away  Saturday, August 15, 2015.

Billy Vaughn  was  born  on  May 25, 1935 to Earl  and  Pearl  Neely  Jackson.  He  was  a  veteran  of  the  United  States  Army.  Billy  Vaughn  was  a  member  of  the  Lake  Howard  Baptist  Church.  He  was  a  loving  husband,  father,  grandfather  and  friend.

He  was  preceded  in  death  by  his  parents;  sister  VeLulla  Gentry;  brothers  Walter  Earl  Jackson  and  Bryan  Hall  Jackson.

Billy  Vaughn  is  survived  by  his  loving  wife  of  48  years  Waydean  Rhinehart  Jackson  of  LaFayette;  daughters  and  sons-in-law  Tonia  (Mike)  Jones  of  LaFayette  and  Angie  (Darrell)  Croft  of  Trion;  son  and  daughter-in-law  Pastor  Tony  (Terri)  Jackson  of  LaFayette;  sisters  Delores  Grigsby  of  LaFayette  and  Bobbie  Day  of  Trion;  and  sister-in-law  Dee  Jackson  of  Tunnel  Hill;  five  grandchildren;  several  nieces  and  nephews  also  survive.

Funeral  from  the  Lake  Howard  Baptist  Church  Tuesday,  August 18  at  2:00  P.M.  with  Pastors  Tony  Jackson  and  Kenneth  Jennings  officiating.

Interment  in  the  Crest-Lawn  Memorial  Park  Cemetery.

Pallbearers  are  grandson  Zack  Jones,  nephews  David  and  Lenn  Jackson,  Preston  Stephenson,  Malcolm  Pickard,  and    Marvin  Edgeman.

The  family  will  receive  friends  at  the  Funeral  Home  Monday  from  5:00  –  9:00  P.M.

Mrs. Lillie Mae Thompson Stewart of Chickamauga, GA and formerly of Summerville, GA pased away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare in LaFayette, GA.  She was a member of the Hemphill A.M.E. Church and Shady Grove Baptist Church, was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Stewart, parents Jackson and Annie Sewell Thompson, brother Felton Smith, Sr., sisters Ellen Avery, Rosa Lee Ellerby, and Isabelle Norman.

Survivors are her nieces, Annie Mae Bryant of Chickamauga, GA, Voncil Coleman of Chattanooga, TN, Annie Mae Glanton, Laura Dean Knowles, Rosa Lee Stamper, Bessie London, Arbie Avery of Summerville, GA, Bernice Walter of Toledo, OH,; Nephews, Henry Avery of Rossville, GA, Rowlan Stewart of Summerville, GA,; several other neices and nephews throughout the United States and into China.  cousins, other relatives and friends. Loving caregivers: Jeanette and James Caldwell of Chickamauga, GA, and Iuanita Rutledge of Chattanooga, TN,.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 16th at 1PM at the Sandy Grove Baptist Church, 879 N. Hwy 341, Wallace Rd, Chickamauga, GA  with Rev. Michael Montgomery, Rev. Soloman Missouri, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until the service hour. Interment will be in the Summerville Cemetery. MRS. MARY FRANCES DAWSON, age 75, of John Jones Road, Summerville, Georgia, Gore Community, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at her residence.  She was born in Jackson County, Alabama to the late William Harrison and Alma Adams Barron, on January 19, 1940; was a 1957 graduate of Summerville High School..  Mrs. Dawson was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and had served as Church Treasurer for many years; she was retired from Farmers & Merchants Bank after some 29 years of service.

        Surviving are husband, to whom She married June 7, 1959, Joe G. Dawson; daughters & spouses, Pam & Ricky Hammonds and Paige & Greg Shaw; brother, Jimmy Barron; granddaughters, Megan Jo Hunter, Clancey Paige & Calen Cooper; grandsons, Chris & Avery Hammonds and Chuck & Brandi Hammonds; great grandchildren, Autumn, Will, Reese, Calan, and Lexi Hammonds.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14th, at 2:00 P.M. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Bryant officiating, interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers Bryant Allen, Michael Allen, Jack Owings, Jeff Owings, Britt Ragland, Shane Ragland, Ross Lowry, and Sam Jones.  The Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Faye Nell Bandy, age 83, of Trion, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Bandy was born in Trion, Georgia on June 5, 1932, daughter of the late Horace J. Searels and Erveen Broome Searels.  She was a member of the Trion Church of Christ, and prior to retirement she along with her husband, Frank H. Bandy, owned and operated the FranFa Dairy Farm in Trion.  Upon retirement from the Dairy Farm, the two of them took up over the road truck driving for approximately 8 years. Following her retirement from trucking, she once again entered the workforce, working in the Shoe Department of the Old Summerville Wal-mart, and later becoming a door greeter at the New Trion Wal-mart. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bandy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Bandy, and a brother, Wayne Searels.

Mrs. Bandy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, LaDon and Sherry Bandy, Dennis and Karen Bandy, and Bill and Cheryl Bandy; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bandy will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilbanks-Bandy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ben Groce, Jimi Rowe, Kirk Patterson, Ben Bandy, Jeff Mitchell and Owen Suits. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams and Matt Hall.

Mrs. Bandy will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

MRS. MARY LOUISE FOWLER WILLIAMS, age 89, of LaFayette, Georgia, formerly of Subligna Community, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in the local nursing home.  She was born on August 2, 1926 to the late Carl Marion Flower, Sr. and Ester Rebecca Lenderman Fowler, in Bessemer, Alabama.  Mrs. Williams was a member of the Subligna Road Church of Christ, a seamstress, and was retired from the sewing department of Best Mfg. Company.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Loyd C. Williams, and siblings, the late Pauline Ball, Marie Plunkett, and Henry Fowler.
