Mrs. Helen Olene Dooley, age 84 of Summerville, GA passed away July 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Dooley was born April 4, 1929 in Trion, GA. She was retired from Best Manufacturing and a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dooley was preceded in death by husband, J. W. "Pete" Dooley; father and mother, Will Christopher and Hattie Lancaster Christopher; and grandson, Eric Eley; several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Dooley is survived by daughter, Doris Eley of Summerville, GA; son, Jim (Karen) Dooley of Midland, GA; granddaughter, Katie Eley of Summerville, GA; granddaughter, Lauren (Thomas) Sikes of Midland, GA; great-grandson, Brad Ellis of Summerville, GA; great-granddaughters, Whitley Sikes and Mallory Sikes of Midland, GA; sisters, Margaret (Bill) Vollm of White, GA and Eunice Austin of Athens, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Olene Dooley will be conducted Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Wilborn officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery.

MR. CHARLES EUGENE WILLIAMS, age 46, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, in a Rome hospital. A native of LaFayette, Georgia He was born on September 3, 1967 a son of Charles Edward and Mahala Snyder Williams, who both survive. Mr. Williams was retired from law enforcement and retail sales and was a former National Guardsman. He was preceded in death by a daughter the late Latisha Faith. Surviving are His wife-Tracie Ann Prince Williams; parents-Mr. & Mrs. Charles Edwards of LaFayette; children-Heather Williams & Jeremy Starr, Anna Trace & Anthony Nasser, Erin Shoptow , and Robert Alexander Nassar all of Ark; sister-Angelia Lucille Gruber; brothers-Jeff Alan Williams and Curtis Edward Williams all of LaFayette; Six Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 17th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Mrs. Mattie Lucille Bradley, age 95, of Trion, passes away Saturday, July 13,2013, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Henagar, Alabama on April 21, 1918, daughter of the late Erskine and Mime Hillian Culpepper. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and loved fishing, gardening, canning food and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby Bradley; sons, S.J. Bradley, Macon Bradley, Wayne Lamar Bradley, Leon Bradley and Steve Bradley; sisters, Pauline Benefield, Gert James; brothers, Grady Culpepper, Granville Culpepper, Rex Culpepper, Billy Culpepper, Eunice Culpepper and Haskell Culpepper.
Mrs. Bradley is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Geneva Bradley, Johnie and Sheena Bradley, and Darrell Bradley; daughters and sons-in-law, Berma Freeman, Jenila McCurdy, Jo Ann and Dean Park, Linda Kay and Billy Ray Clark, Brenda Sue and Tim Nichols; brothers, Dan Culpepper and Jimmy Culpepper; sister, Barbara Jean Denton; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bradley; 36 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bradley will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Zunica and Rev. David Rayburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Newton, Dewayne Clark, Ronnie Bradley, Seth Bigham, Brent Bigham, and Rodney Bryant. Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Daisy Lee Day, age 94 of Plum Street, Trion, GA passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Day was born October 6, 1918 in Summerville, GA. She was a house wife and a member of the Trion First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Day was preceded in death by husband, Henry J. Day; father and mother, Frank and Ida Keith Battles; sisters, Amanda Williams and Maggie Mathis; brothers, Bill Battles, L. C. Battles, and Marshall Battles.
Mrs. Day is survived by daughters, Bobbie (Jimmie) Ball of Ider, AL and Sue (G. F.) Mr. David Lee Guinn, 84, of Trion, GA, passed away Sunday July 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1929, in Jackson County, Alabama, the son of the late John Eloris and Katherine Jane Wilson Guinn. David was retired from Tennessee Alloy located in Bridgeport, AL, where he worked hard and diligently for his family whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed fly fishing, gardening and working on his farm, most of all he was a devoted Christian and a member of the Pennville Church of Christ. David was preceded in death by brothers, Orville and John C. Guinn.
David is survived by his wife of Edna, 2 daughters, Fran Schrader, Peggy Wilson, son, John David Guinn, sister, Stella Grace Fritz, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2:00. Tuesday July 9, 2013 from the Pennville Church of Christ with Minister Robbie Eversole officiating with interment in the Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Thomas Guinn, Chris Fritze, Carl Gentry, Jerry Wilson, Arron Elder, Jimmy Westbrooks.
Mr. Guinn will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday July 8, 2013.
