Ms. Pamela Green, age 48 of Old hwy. 27 in Trion, passed away Monday Morning at her residence. Ms. Green was born in Gadsden on June 10th, 1960 to the late John and Helen Chapman Cantrell. Surviving are daughter Kelly Green of Trion, a son Randy Green of Summerville. Two sisters Ramona Cantrell of Rainsville and Paula Raye Bartlett of Floriday, one brother Ray Cantrell of Ft Payne, two grandsons, Jordan Green and Andrew Hinton both of Trion, Several nieces and Nephews also survive.. Mrs. Amanda Viola Edgeworth, age 85, of Summerville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Edgeworth was born in Cedar Bluff, Alabama on December 29, 1923, daughter of the late Will Proctor and Vora Lee Hunter Proctor. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Edgeworth is survived by her husband, Ellis Lee Edgeworth of Summerville; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Johnny Allison, Douglasville, Woodrow Allison, Calhoun, Wayne and Rhonda Edgeworth, Daphene, AL, and Eddie and Marie Edgeworth, Summerville; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Ann and J.T. Harris, Lynn and Kenneth Vaughn and Toni Kilgore all of Summerville; one Sister, Arlene Williams of Summerville; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Edgeworth will be held Monday, February 23, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Lyerly Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Darlyn Dalana Willerson, age 52, of Summerville, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009 at Hutcheson Medical Center. Mrs. Willerson was born in Chattooga County, Georgia on January 13, 1957, the daughter of Helen Mae Fortune Wyatt and the late Eugene Lewis Wyatt. She attended the LaFayette Church of God and was employed with Capitoline Products. Mrs. Willerson is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Willerson of Summerville; sons and daughters-in-law, Dereck Monroe and Moira Howerton of Ohio and Shane Zachariah and Amy Voils of Rome; daughter, Darlyn Rhiannon Howerton of Calhoun, GA; brother, Ed Wyatt of LaFayette; sisters, Barbara House of Rome, and Deanna Gaylon of Ft. Oglethorpe; and three grandchildren, Jaden Voils, Tabitha Voils and Sophia Voils. Funeral services for Mrs. Willerson will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 7:00 p. m. at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Bruce officiating. Mr. Clay Windell “Red” Ledbetter, age 65, of Summerville, GA, passed away Sunday February 15, 2009 in Floyd Medical Center. Mr. Ledbetter was born May 14, 1943, in Chattooga County Georgia, the son of the late Marvin Elmer and Purney Artell Crane Ledbetter. He worked for Shaw Industries as a truck driver before his retirement, he was a member of the United Christian Fellowship Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam Conflict and was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Bullington, brothers, Elmer Gray Ledbetter, and Larry Gene Ledbetter. Mr. Walter Curtis Prince, age 76, of Menlo, GA died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Prince was born November 6, 1932 in Floyd County, GA, the son of the late Thomas D. and Estelle Mae Butler Prince. He was retired from Best Manufacturing. Mr. Prince was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jean Prince, brother, T. D. Prince, Jr., grandchildren, Kenneth Daniel Prince, Regina Faye Prince, and Gavin Ray Lemons.

Mrs. Doris Louise Greene Pettyjohn, age 81, of Walker Street, Trion, GA, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Pettyjohn was born in Chattooga County, GA on December 12, 1927. She was retired from Best Manufacturing and was a member of Trion United Methodist Church and a member of Summerville Chapter #434 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Pettyjohn was preceded in death by her parents, James Claude Greene and Celia Ellie Keasler Greene; brother, Ray H. Greene and a nephew, Ray H. Greene, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas S. Pettyjohn of Trion, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and John Sterner of Summerville, GA; grandson, Mason David Sterner of Summerville; sister-in-law, Linda J. Greene of Summerville; a niece and her husband, Celia and Craig Holt of Summerville; great-nephew, Jared Holt of Summerville; great-niece and her husband, Bethany and Brooklyn Stiefel of Rosedale, GA; several other nieces and nephews and a life-long friend, Joye Palmer, also survive.

Mr. Grady Jerome Anthony passed away Saturday February 7th at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. He is the son of the late Mr. John Anthony and MRs. Annette Anthony. He was born in Chattooga County, Georgia and was educated in the public schools of Chattooga County.
He was employed at Local Union 438 in Atlanta, Georgia for a number of years. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, 7 children, 5 brothers and 2 sisters along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM at Pond Springs AME Zion Church in Holland, Georgia with Donald Patterson officiating.
Mr. Anthony will lie in state at the church 2 hours before the funeral service where the family will receive friends.

Ms. Adams was born in Walker County, GA on November 26, 1945, daughter of the late Starling K.C. Adams and Thelma Pauline Williams Adams. She was a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church and prior to retirement was employed with Mt.
