Mr. Glenn Mitchell Maynard, age 58, of Summerville, GA died in Benson, AR.
Mr. Maynard was born October 8, 1949 in Cherokee County, AL the son of Jewell Deering
Maynard and the late Gibson Maynard. Mr. Maynard was retired from the United States
Marines/AirForce. He was preceded in death by a sister, Leta Maynard Pickle.

Mr. Mack M. Bridges, age 56, of Smyrna, TN., formerly of Lyerly, GA., passed away Tuesday June 24, 2008, in Smyrna, TN. Mr. Bridges was born June 2, 1952, in Chattooga County Georgia, the son of the late Claude and Pauline McCullough Bridges. He was employed as a saleman with Neill Sandler Toyota. Survivors include his daughters, Marta Bridges and Carrie Bridges Daniels of Smyrna, TN., sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Jo and James Smithson, Claudia Wyatt, Sue Bennett, all of Summerville, GA., Juanita Baker, Lyerly, GA., grandson, Connor Daniels. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. (est) Saturday June 28, 2008, from the Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN. Mr. Bridges will be in state at the Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, TN., and the family will receive friends Saturday June 28, 2008, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (est).
Mr. Fred Vernon Lewis age 71, of Halls Valley Road, Trion passed away Sunday June 22nd at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Chattooga County. He was born to the late millard M. and Mammie Ester Brooks Lewis on May 6th 1937. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife Davine Lewis, He was a Veteran of the US Air Force retiring after 20 years of service then working for Simpson Paper Products in Pasadena, TX, retiring some 8 yers ago and returning to Georgia to live. Surviving are children, Donna Lynn Claybourn, Debbie Terrell and Dale Vernon Lewis all of Pasadena TX. Sisters Judy McNair of LaFayette and Wanda Smith of Trion, Brother Marshall Lewis of Lawrenceville, seven grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm from the graveside in Forest Lawn Cememtery Pasadena, TX. Earle Rainwater Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.

| William Frank Rosser, 83, Chattanooga died Saturday, June 21, 2008. He was member of Lakewood Baptist Church and Baptist International Missions where he served as assistant director for several years. Mr. Rosser had served for 50 years as a missionary to Nicaragua, Central America where he pioneered the work in Nicaragua 50 years ago resulting in 159 self supporting independent Baptist Churches. He had also started several independent Baptist Churches across America. Mr. Rosser was a graduate of Tennessee Temple Bible College, Spanish School in San Jose, Costa Rica and was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Seabees. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Rosser, Chattanooga; sons, Steven Rosser, R. Mrs. Glenda Coffman Hopkins, age 53, of Summerville, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Floyd Medical Center.
Mrs. Hopkins was born in Fulton County, Georgia on January 12, 1955, daughter of the late Howard Franklin Treglown and Mildred Gertrude James Treglown. She was a member of the Four Mile Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy Clifford Hopkins, Jr. on April 4, 2007, and a brother, Raymond Allen Treglown.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jamey and Karen Coffman, Summerville; a daughter, Dondee Hite, Rome; sisters, Nancy Linder, Grayson, GA and Debbie Chambers, Bethlehem, GA; grandchildren, Treyton and Barrett Coffman, Summerville; Derica Hite, Chanler Collins and Jedda Holiday of Rome.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hopkins will be held Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Private interment services will be held at a later date in the Aragon Memorial Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Four Mile Baptist Church.

Mr. Christol was born April 11, 1961 in Chattooga County, GA, the son of Audrey Mathis Christol and the late Donald F. Christol.
Mr. Christol is survived by his mother, Audrey Christol; sons, Casey Lamar Christol, Matthew Nathaniel Christol, Aaron Christol; daughter, Ashla Brown; sisters, Lila Payne, Donna Christol; granddaughters, Madison Christol, Addison Christol, niece, Heather Payne; great-niece, Alexis Payne.

Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Lathem was born July 27, 1922 in DeKalb County, AL, daughter of the late H. W. Williamson and Bertha McGregor Williamson. She was a former Co-owner of Bill?s Heating and Cooling, was a member of North Summerville Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Willis G. (Bill) Lathem, sister, Mary Lou Rice, and brothers, Marcus Williamson, Curtis Williamson and Tommy Williamson.
Survivors include a step-son, Jerry Lathem, Summerville, GA, step-daughter, Gail Turner, Cumming, GA; sisters, Ruth Bennett, Ruby Middleton, Frances Hardy, Betty Chamlee, Brenda Brown, Linda Russell, Shirley Harrison, brothers, Luther Williamson, Ludie Williamson, Billy Ray Williamson, Leon Williamson, Troy Williamson, H W (Dub) Williamson, Roy Williamson, Robert Williamson, Jimmy Dale Williamson, 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
