William Frank Rosser, 83, Chattanooga died Saturday, June 21, 2008. He was member of Lakewood Baptist Church and Baptist International Missions where he served as assistant director for several years. Mr. Rosser had served for 50 years as a missionary to Nicaragua, Central America where he pioneered the work in Nicaragua 50 years ago resulting in 159 self supporting independent Baptist Churches. He had also started several independent Baptist Churches across America. Mr. Rosser was a graduate of Tennessee Temple Bible College, Spanish School in San Jose, Costa Rica and was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Seabees. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Rosser, Chattanooga; sons, Steven Rosser, R. N., Rossville, Dr. Larry Rosser, Chattanooga; daughter, Janet Thomas, Rossville; grandchildren, Justin Rosser, Blake Rosser, Alexis Rosser, Lari Burkhart, Amanda Resha, Libby McJunkin, Nathan Talley, Wesley Talley, Jordan Talley, Landry Talley, Nilesen Cross, Cooper Talley, and Hanlen Thomas; nineteen great grandchildren; brother, Paul Rosser, Trion, GA; sisters, Josephine Baggett, Rome, Ada Mae Bridges, Summerville, Hilda Reynolds, Lyerly, GA, Francis Rosser, Summerville; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in the chapel with Dr. James Ray, Rev. Austin Cook, Rev. Cecil Sturgill, Rev. Sammy Allen, Rev. T. D. Burgess, Rev. David Bragg, and Rev.
