She was born July 15, 1951, a daughter of the late T. C. “Bud” Whitley and Mary Beatrice Bailey Whitley. Mrs. Grimes was retired Clerk for the Chattooga County Clerk of Courts office, and a member of the Trion First Baptist Church.
