Mrs. Georgia Orene Waters, age 94 of Rome, formerly of Summerville, GA passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at a Rome Healthcare Center.
SHARON MOORE LEEK – Age 69, of Columbus, Georgia and formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017.
Mr. Calvin Louis “Speedy” Scoggins, age 63, of Trion, GA, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Scoggins was born March 15, 1954, in LaFayette, GA, son of the late Calvin Lee Scoggins and Helen Ruth Richardson Scoggins. He was Baptist by faith, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Mohawk.
Mr. Scoggins is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra Rice Scoggins; sister, Darlene Padgett; sister-in-law, Vanessa Sandidge; brothers-in-law, Steven Sandidge, Sammy (Lisa) Rice; nieces and nephews, Zach Sandidge, Anda (Cliff) Martin, Lauren (Ory) Stephens; great-nephews, Bradyn Craig, Hatley Stephens.
Funeral services for Mr. Scoggins will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Miles Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Parker, Daniel Dotson, David Davis, Kenny Dennis, Jake Parker, John Roach, and Zach Sandidge.
Mr. Scoggins will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2017.

Mr. Malcolm Macdonald Lee, 62, passed away on July 10, 2017. He was born July 29, 1954 in Clinton, SC to Lorenzo Hyrum Lee and the late Anne Macdonald Lee.
