Mrs. Shirley Sue Walker, age 84 of Summerville, passed away Friday, December 08, 2017 at her residence following a brief illness.
MR. OLIVER RANDOLPH McDANIEL – Age 84, Of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Danville, Virginia.
He retired from World Carpet in Dalton, Georgia. He was born on November 27, 1933 to the late Thomas Jefferson McDaniel and Sarah Elizabeth Jones McDaniel and was preceded in death by his wife Rosie Mae Adams McDaniel, daughter, Elouise H. Rounsaville, and son, Fredrick G. McDaniel on November 28, 2017.
Survivors are his loving family; daughter, Glenda Hudgins of Summerville, GA; son, Cameron L. (Briseis) McDaniel of Elon, NC; sisters; Dorothy Brown of Atlanta, GA; Eleanor McDaniel and Patricia Jackson of Boston, MA; brothers, Lazarus (Larain) McDaniel of Gonzales, LA; Alfred (Mary) McDaniel of Lyerly, GA; Steve McDaniel of Gaylesville, AL; sister-in-law, Rebecca McDaniel of Augusta, GA; brother-in-law, Jerome Poole of Canton, GA; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. from Cedar Spring Baptist Church with Pastor James Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment, Pond Spring Cemetery. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
MR. NORMAN EUGENE EARLY SR., age 81, of Unity Church Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, in a Rome hospital.
Mr. Johnny Lee Loveless, age 73, of Summerville, GA, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Pruitt Healthcare in LaFayette.
Mr. Loveless was born March 29, 1944, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Grady Edward Loveless, Sr. and Thelma Olivia Adams Loveless Allgood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James William Loveless, Larry Loveless, and Calvin Loveless; a sister, Doris Elaine Loveless Johnson; and step-father, Albert Allgood.
Mr. Loveless is survived by his sons, Kevin Phillips, Lenezro Phillips; brothers, Charles (Dorthy) Loveless, Grady (Regina) Loveless; sisters, Arbie Loveless, Judy Loveless; step-sister, Kay Francis Moody; aunts, Helen Mims, Gladys Mitchell, Wilma Warren, Dorothy O’Donal, Bea (Lee) Victorian, and Lurlene Adams; uncles, George (Doretha) Adams, Joe Barnes; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Loveless will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Timothy Williamson and Dr. Dan Barton officiating. Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Flower bearers will be nieces.
Mr. Loveless will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour on Saturday.
