REV. HOLLIS L. SIFFLES, SR., age 64, of Back Berryton Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, evening in a Rome hospital.
John Paul “Johnny” Henderson, age 62, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday October 7, 2017, in Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Chris “Milo” Milam, age 46, of Trion, GA, passed away Tuesday October 3, 2017, at Floyd Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1971, in Rome, GA, the son of Billie Faye Barksdale Milam and the late Robert Gene Milam.
He was employed with International Paper, and loved Golf, Playing the Guitar, going to concerts, grilling, and watching football.
Survivors include, mother, Billie Faye Milam, children, Christopher Brady Milam, Chandler Jared Milam, Caitlin Elizabeth Milam, brother, Robert Gene Milam, JR.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday October 8, 2017 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mark Byars, Brian Chandler, Chris Harris, J.J. Ivey, Tracey Barksdale, Terry Barksdale. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Chandler, Levi Scherer, Dustin Ivey, Tyra Bennett.
Chris “Milo” Milam will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday October 8, 2017, from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
GENE NORAGE ROUNSAVILLE– Age 68, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. Rounsaville and Leatha Gober Rounsaville, brother, Max Rounsaville, Wesley Rounsaville, Decosta Rounsaville, and sisters, Martha McLendre, Barbra Darden, and Geraldine Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthie Harris Rounsaville; son, Monte Rounsaville; special friend, Georgia Glenda Smith; sister, Patricia Davis; brothers, Clifford Rounsaville and Willie Rounsaville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Spirit Truth Assembly of Jesus, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, Georgia, with Bishop V.T. Harden and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment, Summerville Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruby J. Hawkins, age 79, of Summerville passed away Saturday- September 30, 2017 at Oak View Health and Rehabilitation Center. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Mason Funeral Home.
Mr. Jimmy Lamar “Jim” Ballinger, age 68, of Menlo passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Ballinger was born January 10, 1949 to the late Allen and Mildred Holbrook Ballinger. He was a former truck driver with WSN.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ballinger, brother, Buddy Ballinger, granddaughter, Mavity Diane Morgan Helms and son-in-law, Jonathon Helms.
Mr. Ballinger is survived by his sons Jerry and Lagena Ballinger, Jimmy and Josephine Ballinger, daughter, Teri Ballinger Helms, brothers and sisters, Jerome and Mary Rhodes, Pete Ballinger, Hoyt and Alice Ballinger, Sybil and Bill Dover, Charles Ballinger, Ray and Marsha Ballinger, Linda and Art Fontana, Randy and Ginny Ballinger, Frances Ballinger, Eddie Ballinger, 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. Ballinger will be at 11:00 am Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Oliver Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his nephews.
Mr. Ballinger will be in-state and the family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
