MR. DAVID LEE WILLIAMSON, SR. – AGE 71, – Of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 25, 1944 to the late Roscoe Franklin Cornelius Williamson, Sr. and Jessie Lee Smith Williamson. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, worked at Mohawk, and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roscoe F. Williamson, Jr., and Rev. John Williamson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of twenty-seven years, Brenda F. Williamson of Summerville, Georgia; three sons, David Lee (Phyllis) Williamson, Jr. of Calhoun, Georgia, Willie (Ramona) Stewart of Rockmart, Georgia, and Ben Wiggins of Capital Heights, Maryland; three daughters, Tongeia Farmer of Chattanooga, Angelique Bankston of Summerville, Georgia, and Sabrina Wiggins of Capital Heights, Maryland; three sisters, Christanater (Henry) Wedgeworth of Summerville, Aileen (Randy) Adams of Rome, Georgia, Mary Bell (Charles) Wooten of Trion, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; Godchild, Lil Bobbie Lester; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, James (Glenice) Thurman of Rome, Robin Williams of Summerville, Michael (Sandra) Allen of Cartersville, Louise Williamson of Rome; Vernon (Sandra) Thurman, Pamela (Warren) Albert of Summerville, Jerry (Bernice) Allen of Atlanta, Mary Thurman of Summerville; aunts, Frankie Shropshire, and Joan Terrell of Rome; a host of other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. at New Spirit and Truth In Jesus Church, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, Georgia, 30747 with Bishop V. T. Harden officiating. Interment with full Military Rites at Chattanooga National Cemetery. His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Mr. Charlie Ronnie “Rooster” Swords, age 65, of Menlo, GA, died Friday, November 11, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Swords was born September 13, 1951, in Adel, GA, son of Ella Mae Hail Wells and the late Aubrey Lee Swords. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Heil Environmental in Fort Payne, AL for 37 years. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Alan Joel Swords.
Mr. Swords is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beverly Espy Swords; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Jenna Swords, Justin and Amanda Swords; mother, Ella Mae Wells; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Phyllis Swords, Sid and Beth Swords, Tommy Swords, and David and Leesa Swords; sisters and brother-in-law, Carol and Hugh Moore, Carol Jean Swords, and Cheryl Kirby; and several nieces and nephews.

MR. ROBERT L. LOVE, age 72, of South Cedar Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at his residence, following a sudden attack. A native of Trion, Georgia He was a son of the late William Bill Love and Avis Lewis Love; and was also preceded by a brother, the late William “Bud” Love and sister, the late Ruth Coker. Mr. Love was a graduate of Chattooga High School and served in Korea during the Viet Nam era in the U. S. Army. Robert will be remembered as a loving, devoted husband, Dad, grand daddy, (Pops to his granddaughters and brother). Anyone needing help, Robert was always first to help.
Surviving are His loving wife, Margie A. Love; daughter, Carla D. Love of Trion and granddaughters, Ann-Marie Keef and Teresa Denise Keef; brothers, David (Vera) Love, Walter (Nell) Love, Winston Love, and Ben Love; sister, Virginia (W.T.) Tucker; sister-in-law, Margie L. Love; several Nieces and Nephews.

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Reverend Varney Arthur “Art” Graves. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 20, 1935, and passed from this world on the afternoon of November 6, 2016 (All Saints Day in the Methodist Church).
Art served as either the youth minister or pastor for the people of North Georgia as an ordained minister in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1960. In that time period, he was appointed to ten Methodist Churches: Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC), Lagrange, GA; St. Paul UMC, Atlanta; Grace UMC, Atlanta; Thomson First Methodist, Thomson, GA; Tuckston UMC, Athens, GA; Graysville UMC, Graysville, GA; Trion UMC, Trion, GA; Lafayette 1st Methodist, Lafayette, GA; Eton UMC, Eton, GA; and Fisher’s Chapel UMC in Summerville, GA.
Art was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wiley and Minnie Graves (a strong influence in his life), Walter and Beulah Graves; and his parents, Varney A. and Mary Bartlett Graves.
Art is survived by Sylvia Graves, his devoted wife of 54 years; daughter, Vanessa Schuler; sons, Marshall Graves and Gerald Graves; brother, Walter Graves; sisters, Emily Roberts, Betty Rueben, and Andi Baker; grandchildren, Mara Gabrielle Schuler, Rebecca Michal Schuler, Brandon Ellis Schuler, Joshua Arthur Graves, Kaitlyn Paige Graves, Lindsey Walston, Nathan Vega and Brenan Vega; a Godson, Newton McCurdy; and through Compassionate Friends, a “Child of compassion” Sulmy Anedith Martinez Gomes in Guatemala.
A Celebration of Life Service for Rev. Art Graves will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 3:30 P.M. in the Trion United Methodist Church with Rev. John McCurdy and Family and Friends officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Fisher’s Chapel Cemetery. Those desiring to attend the graveside are asked to meet at Coffman Funeral Home by 1:15 Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ellis Schuler, Joshua Arthur Graves, Newton McCurdy, Nathan Vega and Brenan Vega.
