The Chattooga County Fair is set to return later this month, bringing four days of rides, livestock shows, live entertainment, competitions and family activities to the Chattooga County Agricultural Center in Summerville.

The 2026 fair will run Thursday, August 27 through Sunday, August 30 at the Agricultural Center, located at 33 Middle School Road.

Opening night will be Thursday from 5 until 10 p.m., with students receiving free gate admission. The fair continues Friday from 5 until 11 p.m., when veterans will be admitted free.

Saturday’s hours will be 2 until 11 p.m., while the fair wraps up Sunday with activities from 2 until 9 p.m.

General gate admission is $5, with children ages four and younger admitted free.

Peachtree Rides will provide the midway attractions. Unlimited ride armbands will be available for $25 on Thursday and $30 Friday through Sunday.

Live music will also be a major part of this year’s fair, with three nights of entertainment featuring Babe’s Bayou, The Band Chickamauga, Lone Star Skynyrd and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Guy Penrod.

In addition to the midway and concerts, fairgoers can expect daily magic shows, Blue Ribbon competitions, a full schedule of livestock shows and Farm Bureau cooking and gardening demonstrations.

Organizers are also teasing a brand-new attraction that will make its debut at the 2026 fair, with additional details expected to be announced soon.

The Chattooga County Fair runs August 27–30 at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center in Summerville.
