Mr. Marvin Thomas Coley, age 82, of Summerville, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Coley was born in Cedartown, GA on January 4, 1926, son  of the late Tyson Coley and Romer ConnellColey.  He was of the Baptist Faith and prior to retirement was employed with Mt. Vernon Mills.
Mr. Coley is survived by his wife, Mable Carr Coley of Summerville; Sons, Wayne (Janie) Coley of Chattanooga, Donnie (Tracy) Coley of Holland, Jackie Coley, Larry Coley and Gary Morgan
all of Summerville; Daughter, Betty (Danny) Long of Menlo; Brothers, Roy Coley of Douglasville and Howard Coley of Cedartown; Sisters, Opal Morris of Silver Creek, Joy Webb of Douglasville and Betty Hall; 17 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren.Funeral Services for Mr. Coley will be held Friday, November 7, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the Mason
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Wright and Rev. Ralph Sumner officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with the Shanklin-Attaway Post 5 of the American Legion Honor Guard in charge of military graveside rites.Pallbearers will be Gary Talley, Barry England, Ricky Howell, Joseph Long, Eddie Bramlett,
and Brian Hunter.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Family, Friends and Staff of Peace Hospice.
Mr. Coley will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
