Mr. Dennis A. Johnson, age 70, of Menlo, GA, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Johnson was born May 30, 1939, in Blakely County Georgia, son of the late Otis and Myrtice Lee Johnson. He was self  employed in Real Estate Sales and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Johnson; daughter, Tracy Johnson and her fiance, William McKenzie; brother, Wayne Johnson; sisters, Karen Lindsey, Judy Johnson and Jean Flounders; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 15, 2009, in the chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Nelson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Yogi Hegwood, Lamar Canada, William Benefield, Jon Dennis, Adam Beck, Larry Lynch, Lann Cordle. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Hixon, Greg Martin, Eddie Hawkins, Bobby Travis, Hugh Pless, Robbie Clifton, Timmy Lindsey, Phil Key, Tommy Kiser, Bob Kiser, Dusty Kiser.

Mr. Johnson will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Monday December 14, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m.
