Mrs. Doris Pauline (Dot) Evans, age 69, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday October 9, 2008, in Erlanger Medical Center. Mrs. Evans was born March 29, 1939, in Huntland, TN., the daughter of the late Tom and Zula Mae Hall Morrow. She and her husband were former Owners- Operators of Evans Welding Shop in Summerville. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James Morrow, and Ray Morrow.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. (Bobby) Evans, sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Mary Evans, Steve and Lynn Evans, Britt and Anita Evans, grandchildren, Jana & Eric Evans, Brooke Bumgarner, Buffy Carnes, Brandon Richardson, Amanda Driver, Jessica Litchfield,great-grandchildren, Emma Bonanno, Colby Evans, Bailey & Brandy Carnes, Bryce & Braxton Richardson, Megan & Sarah Driver, sisters & brothers-in-law, Edith & Tip McCollum, Trion, GA.,Katie & Bill Quintrell, East Ridge, TN., brothers & sisters-in-law, R.D. & Carol Morrow, Summerville, GA., Forrest & Carrie Ann Morrow, Six Mile, S.C., several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday Oct. 11, 2008 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Waydell Howell officiating with interment in the Greenhills Memory Garden. Active pallbearers, Todd Hammond, Greg Morrow, Billy Quintrell, Bryan Quintrell, Johnny McCollum, Alan Duke. Honorary pallbearers, Eric Evans, Tony Evans, Mark Evans. Mrs. Evans will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday Oct. 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m.
