Mr. Donald Ferrell Evans, age 66, of Summerville, GA died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Evans was born December 24, 1942, the son of the late Albert Lee Evans and Ina Mae Dillard Evans. He was retired from Inland Containers. Mr. Evans was a member of Pennville Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army. Other than his parents, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Diane Jones Evans.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Bryan and Michelle Evans and Milton Douglas and Cindy Evans; brothers, Bobby Evans, Buddy Evans, and Joe Evans; grandchildren, Heather Ritchie, Casey Evans, Brandon Evans, Rhonda Anderson, Brittanie Evans, Cody Evans, and Chasity Evans; great-grandchild, Claire Ritchie; friend, Rodney Kinsey, and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casey Evans, Brandon Evans , John Peoples, Fred Lawson, and Jerry Holbrook.

Mr. Evans will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Wednesday, July
