Mrs. Evelyn Busby, age 74, of Summerville, GA died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Busby was born January 11, 1935 in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late Albert Carpenter and Thelma Keen Carpenter. She was retired from Mohawk Industries. Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wallace Busby.

Mrs. Busby is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & James Carroll of Summerville, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Debo and Mary Busby of Lyerly, GA; a sister, Clara Mae Brown of Trion, GA; 3 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Oscar Stapp and Rev. Doyle Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joey Banks, Jason Carroll, Clay Carroll, Reuben Brock, Brannon Brown, and Robert Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be all CNA’s and Nurses of Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Bubsy will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receve friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Tuesday
