William Cooper Gilbreath, 87 of LaFayette passed away Sunday at his residence…A life long resident of the LaFayette Area, he was a former employee of ET Barwick, and a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII and was a Baptist by faith….He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Robinson Gilbreath, brothers J.B. and Robert Gilbreath and sister Viola Gilbreath. He is survived by his wife Lillian Stoker Gilbreath of LaFayette, Son and Daughter in law Douglas and Carolyn Gilbreath of LaFayette, A daughter and son in law, Carolyn and Clint Durham of LaFayette, 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 1PM on Tuesday with Rev. Lowell Cantrell and Rev. David Pettyjohn officiating.. Internment will be in Shaw Cemetery… The Family will receive friends Monday night from 5 to 9PM at the Funeral Home….Wilson Funeral Home of Lafayette makes the arrangements for Mr. William Cooper Gilbreath of Lafayette….
