Infant Gavin Alexander Lopez, 6 days, died January 12, 2014 at Floyd Medical Center.

Gavin was born January 6, 2014 at Floyd County Hospital, the son of Alejandro Lopez and Mary Elizabeth Cochran.  He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Harold “Pee Wee” Cochran.

Survivors include his parents, Alejandro Lopez and Mary Cochran; sisters, April Cochran and Ma’Shayla Cochran; grandparents, Vickey Hobbs, Maria and Martian Lopez; aunts and uncles, Tonie Cochran, Harold Cochran, Abraham Lopez, Freddy Lopez. Sandra Lopez, Julia Lopez, Meliza Lopez, Gloria Lopez and Junior Lopez.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Ellison officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p. m. on Wednesday,

January 15, 2014 at Mason Funeral Home.
