Miss Emily Cheyenne Johnson, age 17 of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away Sunday- June 17, 2018 at her residence.

Emily was born January 24, 2001, in Ft. Payne, AL, the daughter of Scott Eugene Johnson and Shae Lynn Smith.  She was a senior at Gaylesville High School, and is preceded in death by her grandfather; Billy Johnson, step-grandfather; Danny Slayton, and uncle; Brian Smith.

Survivors include her father; Scott Johnson, mother & step-father; Shae Smith & Chad Slayton, brothers; Lance Bryant, Will Smith, and Levi Slayton, sisters; Ashley Slayton, and Caitlin Slayton and grandmothers; Glenda Bridges, Geraldine Johnson,  and Brenda Slayton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM (EST) Wednesday- June 20 at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Parker. Burial will follow at Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday form 12:00 noon (EST) until the service hour.
