Mr. Carlton Lee “Bo” Millican, age 83, of Summerville passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Millican was born in Chattooga County, Georgia on December 23, 1927, son of the late Charlie Millican and Allie Robertson Millican. He was retired from Bigelow-Sanford and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Millican loved to fish and camp and had played on the Ole Timer’s White Baseball Team. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Carl Kilgo, and a grandson, Joel Gregory Thompson.

Mr. Millican is survived by his wife, Betty Millican; sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey Millican, Lamar and Pam Millican, and Danny and Patsy Duvall; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Jimmy Thompson, Robbin Highfield, and Teresa and Jonathan Pickle; brothers, Charles Millican and Ray Millican and sister, Vivian Millican; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Russell and Rev. Jackie Culberson officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Millican, Jeremy Croy, Scott Clements, Michael Cochran, Adam Willingham and Caleb Millican.

Mr. Millican will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 8 P.M.
