Mr. David Lamar Bowman Obit (M)

Mr. David Lamar Bowman, age 66, of Summerville, GA died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Bowman was born December 30, 1946 in Chattooga County, GA, the son of

the late H. D. Bowman and Christine Aaron Bowman. He was retired from

Mohawk Industries. Mr. Bowman was a member of Masonic Lodge #338.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Bowman.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Bowman; daughters and husbands, Darla and Chuck

Petitt, Lori and Lance Johnson, and Carin Bowman; son and wife, Daniel Alan

and Tabitha Brown; sister, Sue Black; grandchildren, Cass Petitt and Anna Renslow;

and a special dog, Chico.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Mason

Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford Deberry officiating.

Mr. Bowman will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive

friends from 1:00 p. m. until the service hour on Thursday.
