Franklin Eugene "Gene" Arnold age 67 of Armuchee passed away on July 21st….He was bornine October 1st 1946 to Henry Thomas Arnold, Sr. and Mamie Lee Hawkins Arnold in Stevenson, AL….A graduate of Chattooga High School class of 1964…He was an employee of Shaw Industries in Dalton and a active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Armuchee having served as Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director and Youth Sunday School Teacher…Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mamie Arnold, Mother in law, Avanell Campbell, brothers Noah and Thomas Arnold and a sister Josephine Cook…

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11AM until 1PM at the funeral home with service to follow at 1PM with Rev. Dough Mattox and Chaplin Tim Baird officiating with burial to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Chapel….
Pallbearers will be Bob Wesson, Scot Branton, Brien Branton, Mike Green, Kevin Mattox, and Terry Dobson.
