Mr. James Ricky Cannon , age 68 passed away Tuesday, October 11th, He was born June 3rd, 1948 in Ft. Payne, AL,,,,He served his country in the United States Army and was employed by Georgia Power Company for 37 years..He loved his family and friends and enjoyed traveling and music …everyone who knew him loved his wonderful sense of humor…He was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Haynie Cannon..

Ricky is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sue Cannon, his son and daughter in law Jeff and Jamie Cannon, Rock Spring Ga., Daughter Emily Cannon of Ashville, N.C.. Grandchildren, Cash Cannon, Camden and Chance Tinsley, his sister and her husband Phyllis and Joey Faircloth, Cedar Bluff, AL, Three nieces and a host of friends…. 

A celebration of his life will be Friday October 21st from 6 to 8PM EDT. at Cloudland Canyon State Park, Group shelter #1
