John Ervin England, Jr, age 79, of Summerville, passed away September 25, 2017 at Redmond Regional Hospital from complications due to lung cancer.
Mr. England retired from the City of Summerville and had also been employed by Chattooga County Public Works. He was a member of the Lyerly Lodge #338 F&AM and was a Shriner. He is preceded in death by parents Ella Mae and John England Sr., a son John England III, a loving aunt Lena Youngblood, and brother Jack England.
Mr. England is survived by his wife Wanda Willingham England; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Tony Price; daughters and son-in-law, Jeannie England Love, Sonya Johnson and Ginger and John Faulkner; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Charles Johnson of Summerville; brother, Earl England of Ellijay; special grandson, Anthony Hamby; special granddaughter, Grace Faulkner; grandsons, Lake England, Shannon Nix, Michael Love, Jason Scoggins, Kalen Willingham and Jordon Willingham; special hunting friend, Nikki Carter; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. England will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dempsey officiating. Private Interment will be at a later date.
Mr. England will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5 to 7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Lyerly Masonic Lodge #338 F&AM, PO Box 121, Lyerly, GA 30730.
