MR. RAYMOND (BUDDY) BARNES, age 73, of Jamestown Road, Menlo, Georgia, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 13, 2020, in a Rome hospital.

He was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 3, 1947, a son of the late Raymond Wood Barnes and Otha Mae Boyd Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a member and Deacon of Chesterfield Baptist Church, and a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Germany during the Viet Nam conflict.

In addition to Parents, He was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law the late Roy Cavin and Frances Cavin.

Surviving are His wife, Katie Cavin Barnes; daughter, Becky Barnes; son, Jeff (Chris) Barnes; grandson, Jaden Barnes; step grandchildren, Brian Wimbley and Alex Wimbley; brother, Ralph (June) Barnes; several Brothers-in Law and Sisters-in-Law, Nieces and Nephews also survive.
