Mr. Richard Hugh Scott, age 69, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Floyd Medical Center.
 
Mr. Scott was born February 20, 1946, in Highland Park, MI, son of the late Charles and Harriet Elizabeth Landers Scott.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, and had worked with Flavor Rich Dairy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Hugh Scott; and sisters, Jean Aycock and Sherry Scott.
 
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Brooks Scott; a daughter, Shannon Scott; brother, Ross Scott; sister, Cynthia Baker; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
 
Funeral services for Mr. Scott will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 18, 2015, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.
 
Mr. Scott will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Friday.
