Mr. Robert Dairl Price, age 90, of Trion, GA died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Price was born July 10, 1920 in Trion, GA the son of the late Jack and Sarah Roach Price. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Mr. Price was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII in Europe, Germany, France, and Belgium. He served as Civil Defense Director for 25 years. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Catherine Townsend Price.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Marty Price.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Norton and Rev. Billy Dempsey officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow at West Hill Cemetery with the Shanklin-Attaway Post 5 of the American Legion Honor Guard providing full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Dodd, Nick Stoner, Dewayne McKerley, Sammy Pilgrim, Eddie Salens and Jimmy Evans.

Mr. Price will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Friday, March 11, 2011.
