Mr. Tommy Taylor Dye, age 41, of Trion, GA died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Emory University Hospital.

Mr. Dye was born October 15, 1970 in Rome, GA, the son of Glenda Unassee Lea Eden and the late Donald Wayne Dye. He had worked at Roper Corporation.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Lanette Broyles Dye; son, Brody Dye; mother and step-father, Glenda and Steve Eden; sisters, Sarah Crabtree and Myra Eden; brothers, Matt Dye, James Eden, Jacob Eden, Josh Eden, Joe Eden, Daniel Eden, and Simon Eden.

Funeral services for Mr. Dye will be held at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Micah Gillespie and Rev. Malcom Harris officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Whaley, Montag Choate, Chad Barnes, Cody Beene, Tracy Maddox, Scott Helton, Justin Ramey, and Gordon Lee Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lea, Brian Ward, Herschel Lea, Robert Smith, Rev. Mickey Skates, Leon Ward, David Westbrooks, Paul Jackson, Conlee Pim, and Pete Crabtree.

Mr. Dye will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Saturday, March 10, 2012. At other hours the family will be at Roy and Mary Ruth Broyles 137 Johnny Drive, Trion GA.
