Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Johnson Farmer, age 78 of Menlo, GA passed away Wednesday- May 26, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Farmer was born February 25, 1943 in Cherokee County, AL to the late James Posey and Florence Mae Dearing Johnson. She was retired from Best Manufacturing and loved to sew, quilt, and work in her flowers.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. Farmer; son, John Farmer; grandson, Jesse Smith; siblings, Albert Johnson, George Johnson, Thelma Scruggs, Virginia Nichols, and Gladys Bentley; and nephew, Kenny Black.
Survivors include her sons, Frank (Carrie) Farmer and Matthew Farmer; daughter, Anita (Houston) Smith; sisters, Teresa Jan Black, and Mary (Hammond) Youngblood; and 3 grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Farmer will be held at 2:00 Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Mount Olive Church.
Inurnment will take place in the family plot at Mt. Olive Cemetery at a later date.
