Mrs. April Renee Porter, age 36, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday October 12, 2013 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Porter was born February 15, 1977, in Werzberg Germany, the daughter of Jimmy Blalock and Ann Lovell Hawkins, she was formerly employed with Dollar General Store.

Survivors include her husband, Billy LaDon Porter, daughter, Ashley Nicole Porter, son, Baylee Cole Porter, father, Jimmy Blalock, mother and step-father, Ann and Curtis Hawkins, sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Caleb Case.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 15, 2013 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Peppers officiating with interment in the Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Jayson Quarles, Cody Cromer, Caleb Case, Gary Lovell, Gabriel Illa, David Williams. Honorary pallbearers, Hays C.E.R.T. Team.

Mrs. Porter will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon Tuesday until the service hour.
