Mrs. Barbara Frances Sharp, age 76, of Summerville, GA died Friday, December 24, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Sharp was born April 11, 1934 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of the late Walter N. and Anna Brown Farmer . She was a retired bookkeeper and member of Pennville Baptist Church. Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her husband, Orville E. Sharp, brother, Douglas Farmer, sister, Vida Black. Survivors include her children, Carl E. Sharp and Laura Wells; sister, Betty Jo Meek; brother, John Farmer; grandchildren, Dalton Wells and Triston Madsen. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p. m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. L. Sharp and Rev. Jimmy Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
