Mrs. Betty Jo Camp, age 78, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009, in Hutcheson Medical Center. Mrs. Camp was born May 11, 1931, in Chattooga County Georgia, the daughter of the late Paul and Ad Gilreath. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Mrs. Camp was a member of Trion First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Preston Camp. Mrs. Camp was retired from Fisher’s, where she worked in the bakery for many years. Survivors include her son, Randall Preston "Randy" Camp, Summerville, GA. and several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. Friday, August 14, 2009 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Braddy and Dr. Floyd Roebuck officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Hill Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Hurley, Barry Hurley, Rick Camp, Butch Camp, Mike Camp, Mike Dillard and Mark Fisher. Honorary pallbearers will be the Nurses and Staff of Shepherd Hills Nursing Center rand Floyd Medical Center. Mrs. Camp will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m.
