Mrs. Billie Dianne Dorsey, age 59, of Acworth, GA passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Kennestone Hospital.

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Canton, Georgia on February 3, 1952, daughter of the late Henry Leonard Dorsey and Ruby Lee Peardon Dorsey. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Dorsey is survived by her children, Donavin Donaldson and Shane Donaldson of Tampa Florida and Brigette (Ricky) Vanpelt of Summerville; brothers, Larry Cline, Richard Dorsey, David Dorsey and Billy Dorsey; sister, Patricia Dorsey; six grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorsey will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Oakdale Baptist Church in Canton, GA with Rev. Huey Holloway and Rev. Mike Ware officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakdale Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Rowlls, Michael Dorsey, Kevin Dorsey, Justin Dorsey, Jason Dorsey, and Jimmy Peardon.

Mrs. Dorsey will be in state at the Oakdale Baptist Church where the family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
