Mrs. Carrie Williams was born October 22, 1919 in Menlo, GA to Logan and Dixie Williams.  On Wednesday, May 2013, Carrie peacefully departed this life. Carrie attended Menlo Public Schools, Menlo, GA.  Carrie moved to Washington, DC in 1954 where she worked at the Pentagon for the General Service Administration as a federal employee for 38 years until she retired in 1986. 

Preceding her in death are her parents; siblings; two daughters, May Ethel Mosteller and Lou Jean Perry; and two grandchildren, William Walker (Grant) and Georgia Addison (Michelle). Memories of Carrie will be cherished by four grandchildren, Jerome Thompson and wife, Sheila, Steven Thompson, Julia Cherie Perry, and Carol Perry; 13 Great Grandchildren; numerous Great Great Granchildren; and a host ofother relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Ami Cemetery. Carrie will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Thursday. Mason Funeral Home is directing.
