MRS. GENEVA ROMINE PETTY, age 84, of Knollwood Circle, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018, morning in a Rome hospital.

A native of Calhoun, Georgia, She was born to the late Thomas Levi and Willie Mae Bynum on November 16, 1933. Mrs. Petty was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Jerry Nathan Petty on January 3, 2012.

Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Cecelia Gail and Daniel Ford; sons and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Shelly Petty and Thomas Petty; granddaughter, Kathie Ford; Five Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren; sisters, Mary Sluder and Hazel McCord; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19th, at 2:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating, interment in Berryton Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Nathan Petty, Thomas Petty, Daniel Ford, Andrew Leonard, Doug Sluder, and Steve Lee. The Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M. the Funeral Home.
