Mrs. Janice Ruth Borges age 70, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, in a Rome hospital.  A native of Chattooga County, She was born on December 20, 1945, to the late John Fred and Georgia Lee Jones Dye.  Mrs. Borges was a Nursing Assistant for Home Nurse and a member of the Harrell Street Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, Jose Borges; daughter, Summer Zuniga Cook of Summerville; son, Michael Zeek Zuniga of Summerville; sisters, Nellie Rogers of Resaca, Georgia and Susan Betts of Lavonia, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 1 p.m. from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Smith officiating, interment in the West Hill Cemetery.   Active Pallbearers Chris Cook, Ronnie Jackson, Thomas Hamilton, Michael Bowers, Gary Cook, Jr. and Junior Kennett.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
