Mrs. Jennine  Dyer Smith, age 74  of Trion-Teloga Road, Summerville,

GA passed away June 2, 2013 2013 at her residence.  Mrs. Smith was

born July 3, 1938 in Trion, GA.  She was retired from Mount Vernon Mills

and attended the Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center.  Mrs. Smith

loved flowers, music, and traveling.  She was active in the Cancer

Support Group.

 

   Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Willis Smith

on December 30, 2012; father and mother, Louis Oscar and Addie Mae

Dyer; and a brother, Jerry Lemuel Dyer.

 

   Mrs. Smith is survived by son, Rev. Randall L. (Cindy) Smith of Twin

City, GA; daughter, Kathy D. Smith of Summerville, GA; brother, Steve

Dyer of Summerville, GA; and sisters, Marveline Cook of Lyerly, GA and

Lisa Chandler of Trion, GA; 2 grandchildren, Jason Smith of Statesboro,

GA and Ben Smith, USAF-United Kingdom, England; grandnieces, Dara

and Deana McRae and other nieces and nephews; and special friend,

Sheila Wilbanks.

 

   Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.

from the Summerville Pencostal Worship Center with Rev. Randall Smith

and Rev. Andy Hutchins officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill

Cemetery.

 

   Visitation for Mrs. Jennine Smith will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the

Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8

p.m.  Mrs. Smith will also lie-in-state on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 1:00

p.m. to 2p.m. at the Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center.

 

   Pallbearers will be Steve Dyer, Jr., Ben Smith, Tim Cook, Jason Smith,

Anthony Turner, and Tommy McRae.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the

Cancer Support Group.
