Mrs. Jo Hall Thornberry, age 86, of Menlo, GA died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Thornberry was born July 23, 1924 in Chattooga, GA, the daughter of the late Jim and Ella White Hall. She was a member of the Alpine Community Church. She was retired from Best Manufacturing. Mrs. Thornberry was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse P. Thornberry, and a daughter, Cheryl Anita Thornberry.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Wayne Thornberry; sister, Jessie Mae Tucker; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Pledger officiating. Burial will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gene Gazaway, Sam Hall, Mike Martin, Tom Brown, Benji Stanfield, and Brandon Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the Best Silver Club; Tim Hogg, Jackie Pritchett, and Sammy Frazier.

Mrs. Thornberry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
