Ms. Joanne Christian, age 69, of Menlo, GA died Tuesday, January 12, 2016
at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
 
Ms. Christian was born August 29, 1946 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late
John William Smith, SR and Ora Josephine Malone Smith.  She was retired from
the United States Postal Service, where she was post master in Menlo, GA.
 
Ms. Christian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Karri Christian;
sister, Janet Black; brother, John Smith, JR; and grandchildren, Breanna Roden and
Brileigh Roden.
 
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p. m. on Friday, January 15, 2015
at Mason Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Courtney Krueger officiating.  Burial
will follow in Anderson Memorial Garden. 
 
Ms. Christian will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:30 p. m. until the service hour on Friday.
