Mrs. Joyce Elaine Floyd, age 63, of Summerville, GA died Monday April 25, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Floyd was born March 19, 1948 in Summerville, GA, the daughther of Erbie Lee Bryant and the late Gertis Lee Hunter Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle. Other than her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paralee Hogue; and brothers, Billy Ray Bryant and Charles Bryant.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Ray Floyd; children, Daniel Smith Floyd and Kimberly Lynn Peterson; father, Erbie Lee Bryant; sister, Linda Gail Garrett; brother, Jerry Dale Bryant; grandchildren, Brycen Peterson and Brianna Gilreath.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Denny  and Rev. Glen Studdard officiating. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be members of the Men’s Sunday School Class of Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle. Honorary pallbearers will be Nephews.

Mrs. Floyd will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
